Alpena, Michigan workshops!

I'm coming out to the midwest region this summer to teach an awesome couple of classes at Art in the Loft, in Alpena, Michigan.
Alpena is a lovely small town waaaay up in the northeast corner of Michigan, right on the lake (on Thunder Bay), with gorgeous views everywhere you look. When I taught there two years ago, I was so jealous of the inhabitants for their incredible art space called Art in the Loft! It's a massive loft area at the top of a commercial building, right in the heart of Alpena.
The classes I'm offering this August 28-29 include:
The Grateful Heart Necklace (pictured above) on Saturday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
The Autumn Dance Necklace (or bracelet, or pendant) pictured below, on Sunday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Register by June 28 and save $25 on both classes! The fee is just $250, not including materials. If you register after June 28, the fee is $275. For a registration form, click here.
These workshops are great for students of all levels, with plenty of detailed instruction for beginners and enough challenging opportunities for more advanced students as well. You can make your necklaces using copper wire instead of sterling silver for significant savings, and as you can see in the picture at top, this type of jewelry looks terrific in copper!

I have taught both of these classes several times in southern California, and they've been very popular. Students enjoy adapting them to bracelet designs as well, and I'll show you how to use the techniques you learn in class to make many more jewelry pieces than the ones pictured.
Since I don't often get outside my local area to teach workshops, I hope to see you in Michigan this August! Remember to register by June 28 to save on class fees.
If you have any questions about the classes or the supply lists, please email me at sharilynmiller@mac.com.
Happy wrapping!
